QUATERHIT

His sire Quatergold is by QuaterBack, who has produced more than 60 stallions. He is notably the sire of Quadroneur, QuaterHall, Quaterkoenig and Quaterbold du Payrol (IDR 139 at 9 years old). Quaterback is out of Quaterman, himself a son of Quando-Quando who ran in the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and produced, among others, Quantensprung.

Quaterhit's dam is Poetin II, as are Bosperus and Quater Stern. She is out of Sandro Hit, a famous stallion who has produced many successful horses, including Showtime FRH team winner at the 2016 Rio Olympics in dressage under German colors and Santano II, team bronze medalist for Australia in CCE.

Poetin II's dam, Poésie, has produced top horses including the five brothers Samba Hit I, II, III, IV and V (by Sandro Hit), Poetin I (winner of the World Young Horse Championship in 5 years old), II, IV and V (by Sandro Hit). Poetry is also the second dam of Trafalgar (by Totilas), Furst Fontaine (by Fuerstenball), Dorian Grey de Hus (by Don Juan de Hus) and Quaterback.

Quaterhit and his sire are therefore both grandsons of Poetry. This inbreeding is known for producing quality dressage horses.
